Hart is a multimodal transportation planner, who currently works as the Statewide Planning and Programming Manager for NCDOT’s Integrated Mobility Division. He has a background in multimodal planning, GIS analysis, public involvement, and mass transit projects. In his current role, Hart advocates for complete streets and multimodal facilities, manages trail feasibility studies, and oversees all statewide planning efforts and the state’s intercity bus program. Hart works with various municipalities and organizations throughout the state, serving as a technical resource for multimodal design guidance and state policies and procedures.
