Advanced driver assistance systems and partial automation of ordinary driving have the potential to prevent crashes and save lives. Higher levels of automation promise to make safe mobility more accessible for a broader range of users. This workshop will explore the ways in which vehicle automation is already improving safety and mobility, as well as possible risks, unintended consequences, and unanswered questions.
